eminem uses syllables in lose yourself to describe his characters feeling because on the first verse he was unsteady because he forgot what he was gonna say and it shows this as the syllables weren’t close together. On the second verse the number syllables were close together because he left the place. On the eighth line the syllables is shorter than the rest because he was leaving the place and everybody there was booing.
